When I, Nejla Reif, founded Pyjama Royal in 2002, I wanted to create more than just beautiful nightwear. I wanted to create a piece of quality of life.

Because after a long day, after many appointments, worries, obligations, and encounters, there is this one special moment: coming home. The front door closes. The world stays outside. Freshly made bedding, a warm shower, and then a premium pair of pajamas against your skin. To me, this isn't luxury. It's a valuable ritual.

Night-time culture is often underestimated today. Yet recovery doesn't begin only with sleep. It begins the moment we let go of the day. When body and soul are allowed to find rest. When we leave stress, tension, and everything burdensome behind.

Pyjama Royal has stood for exactly this moment for 24 years.

Over all these years, I've had countless conversations with our customers. This personal closeness has taught me what truly matters: quality you can feel. Fabrics that lie pleasantly against the skin. Cuts that give you freedom of movement. And materials that pamper even sensitive skin.

That's why I have the fabrics woven to my own specifications. We use premium cotton qualities – from especially light summer fabrics to warming winter qualities. The fabrics don't shrink, don't bleed color, and keep their quality for many years. A large part of our products is made in Germany.

People who can't find a standard solution are especially close to my heart. That's why individual adjustments and custom-made pieces have naturally been part of our offering for many years. Because good sleep and well-being shouldn't be a question of ready-to-wear sizes.

Pyjama Royal remains an owner-run business to this day. Behind every garment stand 24 years of experience, personal consultation, and the conviction that true quality takes time, care, and passion.
